He then has a mental encounter with a pixelated version of himself who calls him by his real name and mocks him heavily. He later starts playing Ki's VGHS game, which he fails to complete. In Episode 2, he attempts to force Ted out of Brian's room using a legal loophole, before destroying the room entirely by Ki's suggestion and giving up. In Season 2, Law is framed for using aimbots, and becomes Brian's unwitting roommate after being hired by Coach Matrix. He tries to kill Brian, claiming that he's a nobody, only for Jenny to attack, and for Brian to throw a grenade on him. When Brian enters the tryouts do to a loophole in the system, Law joins the game in an attempt to win. Later, Law is interviewed while Varsity and Junior Varsity do tryouts. Later, he mocks Brian, who instigates a brawl, that ultimately gets him expelled. During a round between Varsity and Junior Varsity, Law makes Jenny put Brian on her team, and defeats him. Law beats him, and reveals that he is dating Jenny. During Jenny's party, he forces BrianD to duel him, which ends up being the game of Dance Ex Machina in Jenny's garage. After Brian is accepted to VGHS, Law appears and at first tells him to "Be himself", before breaking his computer and claiming that he "is VGHS". After seeing BrianD AFK, he attempts to play around with his avatar by placing a grenade on his head, only for BrianD to return to his keyboard and kill Law instead. The show opens with Law on live TV, logging in to a random server and defeating the whole server. Whether or not Law believes this or not is unknown, though it does, at best, suggest an insane moral compass, if not a complete lack of one. When confronting Brian in the Season 1 finale, after having disarmed him and in the midst of delivering a grand speech, Law claims that he is "not the bad guy". This possessiveness however, doesn't seem to have been emotionally driven at all, and its likely the case that he never cared for her, clearly showing no remorse when confessing to Brian that he'd never let her compete on Varsity. Despite their status as boyfriend and girlfriend, the two were rarely shown together, and when they were, Law appeared to be possessive, especially around Brian. The only form of legitimate companionship Law seems to have ever had in the series was with Jenny, whom he was in a relationship with for most of Season 1. Though he generally seems to hide his malicious side in public, as evidenced when he fake befriends Brian at Jenny's party in Episode 4, The Law seems to have no qualms with exercising his control over his allies and constantly reminding others of their place, displaying an acute narcissism that borders on clinical. Though its likely because of limited screen time, a lack of insight into his past or family, and writing that renders him a one-dimensional character. While Brian is a soft-spoken, good-natured kid, The Law is extremely aggressive, arrogant, confrontational, and domineering, never showing a moment of remorse throughout his campaign to subvert Brian and render his life at VGHS a living hell. The Law's personality is starkly contrasted to that of his arch-nemesis', Brian D. Though renowned for his prowess in first-person shooters, he displays great skill in both Dance Ex Machina and Chess. He is BrianD's archnemisis, Jenny Matrix's ex-boyfriend, and a world-famous amateur FPS gamer, who begins the show as the highest ranked student at VGHS, as well as captain of its Varsity FPS team. Lawrence Pemberton also known as The Law (simply called Law) is the central antagonist of Video Game High School, serving as the main antagonist of Season 1, an anti-hero in Season 2, and a minor antagonist in Season 3. ~ The Law threatening Brian after breaking his keyboard. Too bad you're in my world now, Brian! Don't you get it Brian? I am VGHS.
